BEYOND PRODUCTS, INC.
In the fall of 2007, Beyond Products, Inc. (“BPI”) launched its first “The Mule™” product. This Mule was equipped with a platform (see below left) measuring 18 inches by 18 inches. The platform can easily be extended another 10 inches with the turn of a screw. BPI’s continual effort to meet customer needs has led to two additional products: a forked Mule (see center photo below) and one with an arbor attachment (photo below right). The fork measures 18 inches long and up to 22 inches wide. It is designed to carry totes and other work bins. The arbor’s diameter (1 ¼ inches) and length (14 ¾ inches) makes it the perfect device to move rolls of packaging material.
Our Storyboard
Each Mule is made in Milford, Connecticut and serves as a versatile lifter, stacker, transporter designed to replace manual lifting tasks while maintaining a good ergonomic position. The combination of the Mule’s ability to fit through doorways and narrow work aisles and its weight load capacity (up to 350 pounds) allows it to be used in diverse work environments ranging from office settings to heavy manufacturing production centers. The Mule’s screw drive column effortlessly lifts objects from 3½ inches to 48 inches and is powered by a 12 volt DC, 15 amp-hour rechargeable ACM battery. The battery can be recharged through any common 110 Volt AC outlet - much like a cellular phone. The back wheels have locking disc brakes which allow you to secure the product into place while loading and unloading material. The unit’s ability to safely fold allows for easy transportation via a car or delivery truck.
